A ride into the temperate rain forest and up Cypress Bowl Road today, to the highest elevation I've reached so far: about 900 m. There was still quite a bit of snow on the side of the road, but the stuff coming from the sky was pure rain, even at the top.
And this, for those who aren't too easily grossed out, is what it's like to take one's socks off after riding in the rain for four hours. Maybe I need some better booties.
